Last night, I spent 20 minutes trying to figure out why my phone wasn't charging - turns out the plug I'm using doesn't fit in the new outlet. Now I have this ridiculous, oversized adapter taking up counter space, all for the sake of a 'standardized' design that no one seems to have checked compatibility for.
