Walking to the coffee shop I just had to swipe my card twice on the reader, apparently once wasn't enough. Meanwhile the lady in front of me just waved hers through without even getting out her wallet, like she's got some sort of VIP club membership I don't know about. What is the point of the 'try again' button if I'm still just going to get declined for some obscure reason.
