Coffee spills as I jostle past a guy in the morning stampede. Apologies fly back and forth, but no one's taking responsibility. I grab a napkin; some kind stranger hands me a towel. Nice, great, thanks. Still, who lets their coffee get that close to a crowded hallway in my old apartment building? We manage to avert total disaster, but really, how hard is it to just drink in a normal-sized lobby?
