Waiting in line at the coffee shop, I'm surprised again by how they insist on scanning a reusable cup before serving me, yet they forget to deduct the $1 discount from my bill. It's not their fault I'm holding the cup wrong, but it's become this weird, annoying cycle. Can we just update the system or have them look up how it works or what?
