I'm still fuming about the guy at checkout with me, his phone screen reflected on the glass. He swipes his card, then proceeds to tap a million buttons. The poor cashier patiently waits for a payment transaction that never happens because his phone died from a battery percentage that had been stuck at 10 for who knows how long.
