My coffee order always involves a specific conversation - just a coffee with almond milk and no sugar, I repeat it twice. But somehow today, the guy misheard, added two sugars and asked if I wanted whipped cream. Now I'm staring at this sugary monstrosity, feeling like I've lost a tiny part of myself.
