Just had my coffee shop loyalty card rejected again because the barista swiped the card sideways instead of vertically so now the system thinks it's just a blank card somehow. I swear it's a design flaw or some tech illiteracy test to see if we can get frustrated enough to just start over. The irony of trying to cash in points for a free drink and it doesn't even read the card is just... lovely.
