Walking down the sidewalk the other day, I noticed a guy carelessly littering cigarette butts all over some poor tree - 35, 40 butts, no concern. He must have smoked a whole pack. What really stuck with me wasn't just the litter itself but the complete disregard for the environment, for other people who might see it later on.
