The coffee shop I always thought of as my safe escape turned out to be a disaster today. I got in line, waited for what felt like an eternity, and when it was finally my turn - they're out of my usual latte syrup. The barista looks embarrassed, shrugs, and offers some flavorless alternative, completely undermining the whole point of my coffee habit.
