Driving to work this morning I noticed my gas cap was still open after filling up. Now I get a reminder every few miles: the annoying chime and the gas mileage gauge starts eating away my progress with an 'UNSECURED TIGHTEN CAP' message. Every time it pops up, it feels like another tiny kick to the stomach – I'm already running late. Can't even get that right.
