I spent exactly 20 minutes trying to figure out why the elevator in 304B took twice as long as usual to go to the 15th floor yesterday evening, and what I was rewarded with was an apologetic note from the manager explaining a 'scheduled maintenance'. Scheduled, as in they planned it for 17:37 on a Wednesday, when most people need to eat dinner.
