Coffee shop lines never get any shorter. I'm stuck here, my turn is next after what feels like a gazillion. Then the kid in front of me orders a ridiculous drink with enough syrup to put the entire coffee industry in peril. The barista politely explains it'll be a five minute wait for that monstrosity, meanwhile I just want my simple latte ASAP.
