Walking into my friend's apartment yesterday, I couldn't help but be annoyed by the fact that the threshold between the foyer and the rest of the apartment wasn't level. It was literally a millimeter off. It threw my whole sense of normalcy off, but in a ridiculous way, of course. Now, I'm still thinking about it today, when it's utterly irrelevant.
