Walking in late for work, already stressed, and as I rush to get my ID scanned on the 9th floor, I accidentally tap my swipe card for my apartment building instead, because why not is my mind still on the couch. The system freezes, flashing that dreaded code 804438 on the screen, and of course, now security is watching me in the lobby too. Just... just one simple commute, is that too much to ask?
