Just paid my bill at the coffee shop and the barista had the nerve to 'accidentally' not give me my change. I handed her a $20 note and was handed back $19. I repeated myself twice until she handed me the extra dollar begrudgingly. Unbelievable the amount of control these small transactions can give people.
