Traffic light near my office just changed to a 3 minute walk, I had to pause mid-conversation with Sarah to check it wouldn't turn before I could walk but it stayed red. It really got stuck in my head how arbitrary this moment was, completely insignificant but somehow managed to disrupt my whole morning.
