Watching my cat stare blankly at the same dust speck on the wall for 10 whole minutes. My coffee's cold, the sun's not shining, and now everything's just dull. Why do they get so fixated on nothing? Is that what meditation's all about? A pet hypnotized by invisible dust. The futility of the day is setting in and I'm stuck here.
