There's something infuriatingly annoying about those automated calls saying they're from the bank and that my account is compromised. And then, in the background, I swear the same canned message is looping in a faint whisper. Like, come on, if you're really trying to reach me, put some actual effort in. Can't they just be honest that it's a robocall to begin with?
