Just walked into my apartment, dropped my bags on the floor - and of course, the door creaks open, slamming against the wall from habit - and it's that one little hinge that refuses to just get a grease rub and be done with it. Can't it just be normal for once? The creaking is so consistent now I know it's me coming or going, it's just another reminder of how old this place really is.
