Walking out of a coffee shop at 8:59 last night with 31 cents on a 10-dollar bill for an 85731 total of $859131 still showed .31 cent remainder left but the cashier just stared and I'm still fuming over a 31 cent discrepancy that was totally their problem to resolve, not mine.
