Rant

So I'm stuck on hold with customer service for an hour now because some human 'optimized' the phone tree for maximum frustration - it's an endless loop of automated nonsense, I've heard the same 'please hold the line' message 27 times, just enough variation in each repeat to keep me thinking they're not stuck on repeat.
