Just witnessed the bane of urban existence. Some genius left their bike locked to a public bike rack in a way that makes it impossible to open the nearby trash can lid, and now everyone's garbage is overflowing because this inconsiderate mess has to hog the whole rack. Seriously, what's the logic behind securing a bike with the hook over a can opening?!
