Staring at the ATM screen as it repeatedly asks me to confirm my PIN when I know I got it right just means someone's designed a flawed algorithm. Like, do I need to type '1234' 50 times before I've somehow entered the world's worst PIN. Seriously though, how much do these companies lose from just minor inefficiencies like this?
