Walking out the café today and some dude is blocking the sidewalk, too caught up in his phone to notice I'm trying to pass. I sidestep him, politely, to avoid a collision, and he glances up, still got that glazed over look, muttering excuse me under his breath like I'm the inconvenience. No one is too far gone to put the phone away, it's just a courtesy, basic human decency.
