Walking into Starbucks, I just wanted a simple venti coffee, but no. Barista asks if I want room for creamer. I'm standing five feet from the syrup station where she just stocked a row of flavored creamers. Does she not see the giant display case right behind her? Why can't she trust me to decide if I need extra space?
