Today I was on the 5th-floor break room microwave. Someone put in a container of mystery food and set the timer. Then, to my amusement, they walked away without checking it. I'm still trying to process why the kitchen's default assumption should be that everyone wants to smell like partially cooked meat for the rest of their workday. Does no one know what 'check your food' means?
