Today at the bank, I tried to deposit a check. The automated machine ate my deposit slip. Apparently, it was a duplicate slip but the new ones didn't work either. I had to stand there for seven minutes with a growing line behind me, watching the customer in front of me get their issue resolved while the representative just pushed papers around on her desk.
