This morning, I stood in line at the coffee shop, waiting 7 minutes for this barista to get my order right, the third misstep after I specifically asked for extra foam in the 852435 combo I'd ordered yesterday. Now I have lukewarm coffee with a weirdly placed drizzle of syrup.

The coffee machine was beeping, it wasn't as if they were short-staffed or anything - just laziness or complacency.
