There's a chip in my desk that's been there since I was assigned to this computer. At first, it was just this tiny annoyance, barely noticeable. Now every time I type on my keyboard it feels like my keyboard is trying to tell me something. The sound those keys go in – clickity-clack – it echoes through my workspace a reminder of how much more functional this place used to be.
