Stupid morning routine, completely derailed by a defective blender. Hit start on a quick smoothie, and all I get is an awful whining noise. Nothing, zilch, but a loud, maddening whine that somehow makes the motor even hotter. No signs of a blade, no juice extraction. Just that annoying whine, now a permanent fixture in my life until I get this thing to silence.
