Stood at the self-checkout, scanned my groceries and proceeded to pay with card - but it wouldn't read. Okay, second attempt still fails. I swiped it again, trying to focus on getting through the line as quickly as possible, but those annoying buttons just wouldn't stop flashing invalid pin number entered - seriously, my card details aren't even linked to a pin.
