Slogging through the morning commute, I just realized,
They always let the elevator break down before rush hour at 7:10 AM - a 'convenient' way for people like me to start the day, on the stairs.

The fact that there hasn't been a fix in three years says they don't prioritize maintenance over saving a buck.
Stuck between floors, sweating, it's not just a minor annoyance.
