People, can't even walk by me with a simple apology when they cut the line in front of me at Starbucks. Today's offender just nodded at me, kept going. Not sorry, not even a glance back. Just a nonchalant acknowledgment that I exist, then oblivion. Like my two minutes of existence are completely irrelevant to the coffee they desperately need. Basic human decency, it seems, is just optional.
