My bus arrives at the stop exactly on time, not like last week, except now nobody moves to let the passengers off. They just stare at their phones, oblivious to the doors opening with a hiss. No one moves, no one asks, like everyone's in a private universe. Finally, an elderly woman, frustrated and a bit wobbly on her feet, has to push her way out.
