Just had to reboil my morning coffee because the electric kettle won't turn off. Now the cord's tangled in the toaster I just used to make those bagels we ate for breakfast. Meanwhile, the cat's stuck behind the fridge after chasing the toaster's cord, meowing loud enough to shake the walls.
