I'm in a meeting at work trying to focus but the fluorescent lights are still on their dimming cycle that starts with an ear-piercing shriek, my stomach drops every few minutes, disrupting my chain of thought completely because someone in IT clearly thought it was a good idea to test the lighting with that awful high pitch, totally unnecessary really.
