I'm at the dentist and I just can't shake this minor tick that's driving me nuts - they put the thermometer under my tongue and it has to beep before it shows my temperature. It's not like it's the most accurate reading in the world, but still, can't they just make it a silent temperature gun or something. 559914, apparently, has issues with noise sensitivities or just basic design sense.
