I was on the bus today with this guy in front of me who had 15 seconds of airtime left on his phone - literally, the screen said 15 seconds - and he was still texting, completely oblivious to the dead zone we were approaching. Now, the bus just stopped and dead air, not a peep, and I'm standing there waiting for my texts that are still in some digital limbo. Who does that?
