Rant

I was in line to pay at the 24-hour convenience store and they'd replaced the touchscreen payment interface with a flaky new card reader that kept failing, and of course, it was during checkout, and they had no spares, and people behind me were getting restless, just a minor glitch but it managed to waste five whole minutes of my afternoon.
