I just tried to order a coffee at the convenience store down the street, and of all the barcodes they're supposed to have, the coffee syrup one wouldn't scan. No big deal, I thought, it's digital now, everyone should be up to date. Guess I was wrong. Now we need to manually input prices. Just another thing for me to learn in line while the barista taps her phone nervously.
