I just tried to get my morning coffee and hit the wrong button on the machine, spewing lukewarm water everywhere. Because, of course, it had to be the one thing I was counting on that morning. The barista just gave me a patronizing smile and handed me a new cup, like I wasn't smart enough to figure it out myself. Newsflash: even I can press a button.
