I just spent 20 minutes in line at the bank only to learn that my phone app was updating at 11:59, not 12:00 like I thought, and I didn't have the new version to receive my tax refund. Now I have to resubmit everything online, on a Sunday evening. The update delay didn't seem like a big deal until it actually mattered.
