Coffee shop, morning rush, they run out of my usual roast halfway into the line. So I ask the guy behind the counter what's up, expecting some standard corporate excuse. Nope, kid just tells me they can't keep up with demand from all the new office buildings popping up. Can't believe it, I've been buying their coffee for years - you'd think they'd see this coming.
