Coffee shop barista asked how my day was going as usual and I muttered a distracted yes.
Then he proceeds to launch into a passionate story about some obscure coffee bean I've never heard of.
I've got no stake in your coffee expertise, I just paid for a latte. Can't have a decent conversation.
Does everyone I meet feel the need to fill a silence with unnecessary details?
